I'm think of sniffing glue to get high. My mom says that it is not only illegal but it can damage my brain? Why would any one care?

It is illegal if you are doing it in public. If you are under the influence of anything and causing disturbances you can be arrested. Yes it can cause brain damage. You mom would care b/c she loves you. You are being selfish if you think that getting high affects only you. You are heading down a dangerous path by wanting to do this.

Have you ever seen someone who has been sniffing glue for a while?? Not a pretty sight.. Listen to your mom and ignore the so called friends that is telling you to try..I know you didn't mention friends telling you anything but you know damn well that this is where you are coming from.. These people ARE NOT your friends.. they are kids with no knowledge of the damage this can cause... I know you are thinking.. this won't happen to you.. hahaha keep thinking.. it will be you.. Just stay away from it.. It's just plain stupid!

Did you ever see that cops episode where the gut had been sniffing paint for like 10 years? He was so wasted from the sniffing that he was retarded. He could barely walk and talk. The cop said he new the guy before he started sniffing. He and his brother used to be handsome and buff and now they were these scrawny, mangy looking guys. Don't do it! It could not just damage your brain it could kill you.

Not only can it damage your brain, the glue you inhale will coat the inside of your lungs and you will suffocate and DIE.
It may not be cool to listen to your mom, but don't do this. It's just really pathetic and sad you want to get high in this manner.

Think about your future, What's your life going to be like in 5,10 or 25 years, do want to pursue higher education, possibly get married and have kids.
I know friends from the 70's who did acid and LSD and they still have flashbacks,and some of them are so bad that they cant drive or hold a steady job
is this the kind of life that you want
