OK, I have been told that the body "changes" every 7 years. Taste buds change and you like different things, etc. Has anyone else heard this? Is this an old wives tale? Just wondering, I remember hearing it years ago as a child and wondered if there is an scientific evidence to it.

It is indeed true. Your body is ever-changing and will until the day it ceases function. As you change, so does your likes and dislikes, tastes, preferences, etc.

The myth of the 7-year itch, is the culmination of the above fact, and the old wives tale that after 7 years, your spouse may wander/cheat on you. Just for informations sake...

The taste bud thing is true. The seven year itch referring to marriage is a wives tale. Meaning that one spouse is tired with the other spouse by that time. I know my taste buds have changed many times & I'll eat most anything now. Good question...
