I got mine about a month and a half later. However, I bled for about 6 weeks after birth. You can tel the difference. It was never ending for months it seemed!

hi bluestar... it seems like you need lots of help with this whole pregnancy thing... yes you can drive a car (that was your other question) unless your belly is too big, in which case, no... but always wear your seat belt UNDER your belly, not across it.
Ok... for the period question.....
You will probably bleed for 6 weeks after you have your little girl (but she will be worth it) and it won't be constant heavy stuff for 6 weeks, just that annoying and a little more than spotting stuff. And you can't wear tampons until after your 6 week check up with your doctor. Right after you have her expect some really heavy flow for a couple of days. When i stood up to get out of the bed after my 2nd boy it was like Niagra Falls down there! Sorry for the grossness... just trying to prepair you, because i had no idea of what to expect with my first.....
Now, as far as your regular period, if you don't breast feed you darling little girl, which you should do, because it is best for her... but if you don't..... your period will come about 4 weeks after the 6 weeks of bleeding.
If you do breast feed then some women, including myself, do not get a period at all the entire time they are nursing until the baby stops nursing. So with me, i nursed all three of mine until they were about 17 months old and so when they were 18 months old i got my period again....
now, don't take me wrong... you can still get pregnant while nursing, even if your period has not come back. so, i hope some of this info has helped you!! take good care of that little girl... only 7 more weeks to go!!!

Depends if you are breastfeeding or not. You will likely get it sooner if you don't.
I've been nursing for 10 months and still no sign of it. With my daughter though it came back at 7 months, and I nursed her past one year also.
Hopefully yours takes it's time...I'm sure happy without it!
