I am currently taking Advair for my asthma. I lost my job 5 months ago and now I don't have insurance. I can't afford insurance either. Advair is around $200/month. I can't afford it, can I just stop taking it? I don't have money to go to the doctors either so what should I do?

search on the internet for Advair. There are a lot of pharmacutical companies that sell medications from Canada and the prices are a fraction of what medications cost in the United States. There are lots of internet pharmacies that do not even request a doctor prescription. You just have to do some research on the net.

I would love to answer this question, but you don't give enough info. I used Advair and i hated it. It didn't seem to do anything, and inhaling powder is just YUCK! I developed asthma in my adulthood from a 4 month bout of viral bronchitis, many years ago. Never was sick as a kid. I used some great inhalers, can't remember the names, but Advair was the worst. Now, I just use albuterol when I need it, which isn't very often. There are websites where you can find Rx drugs from pharmacies that cater to elders and maybe people with no insurance...OH! By the WAY! I used to get samples of everything from my doctor when I din't have insurance. ASK! They have a LOT of them.

Contact your nearest Public Health Agency for assistance. I hope that there's jobs in your area because you need one with health insurance quickly. Some drug manufacturers provide prodicts free to people who can't afford them. Take care.
