I am so devestated over my bf breaking up with me and over everything going wrong that my body is numb......... Is this normal?

emotions can most definately effect you physically. What happens is the emotions put your brain into "over-load" due to the stress(the physical feelings you probably will feel will be headache, nausia, etc.) when this happens your body doesn't know what to do because the brain in't sending the signals due to the overload. If that makes sense to you. Just remember to take deep breathes and count when you start to feel over whelmed ok? And even though at the moment it seems the end of the world... you know it isn't and this to will pass. You will be alright...i promise.. good luck honey

Yes it is. Get yourself a couple of rental movies, a comfortable couch, a warm blanket, and a pint of Ben and Jerry's. It'll make you feel better Trust Me.

Yep- I had major surgery - and yes that does happen-- and yes its normal.
