I am a college freshman dude, and currently i have a big crush on a classmate. A lot of ppl tell me that I should try to have fun with many different ladies since I am in college, but I find it quite hard to do so. I know I could have randomly hooked up with some girls at parties because I have a well defined body, and I know how to dance. However, I just can't get my crush out of my head. I sorta wish I didn't dig her because I get distracted by the thought of her quite often. Perhaps the way I've been brought up keeps me from having fun with many different girls. My parents are very conservative, and I've been sorta taught not to randomly hook up with girls. Honestly I am sorta obsessed with my crush. I don't really bother her, but I am just strongly attracted to her. She's so different from girls I've known. I think she's stunningly beautiful and very intellectual. I just don't seem able to open myself up to other opportunities. Do y'all have similar experiences?

Then what are you waiting for?

Ask her out already!! You have a good body, know how to dance, so you know how to have fun, right? So if you already know her, ask her out, if not, introduce yourself to her, or through some friends, and then ask her out as soon as possible (unless you notice she is really not interested).

Take it from there. What is the worse that can happen, that she says no? Or that she doesn’t get to like you? Well, then you will know and can move on, otherwise, she could be your future wife!

Don’t let it slip out of your hands. Get her while you can. Trust me, I’ve been there, and I know by experience. You have to act now.

Is obvious you don’t like to date other girls, so you have to try to get her. If it fails, then is over, and try to move on. But you won’t know unless you try!

Good luck. And make sure to ask her right away! Pick up the phone already!

I do know how you feel, except my experiences are from the other side. Intelligent, pretty girls start to feel unattractive after a while when someone with a crush doesn't tell them. Take it from a girl--you should absolutely tell her how you feel. Or maybe just ask to grab a bite to eat with her, something simple. Don't clam up! You don't want to spend a good portion of your life wishing you'd spoken up sooner and never did, after all.

If you're feeling intimidated, it happens. However, you shouldn't let that stop you from saying anything. You could be missing out on a great relationship!

The college crowd in today's culture seems to have this obsession with 'playing the field' so to speak, but not everyone has to do so. If you're the kind of person who digs having a single relationship, either deep or casual, then hey, to each his own. When it comes right down to it, just be yourself! Chicks dig confidence, don'tcha know! ^_~

people always offer blanket advice. You are who you are. If it's not in you to date around then it would be wrong for you to do so. You have to find out if this girl is the one for you. Realize she's only human and you may have built her up in your head to be so perfect. We all do it. You don't need other opportunities if you know what you want. Ask her out or you'll regret it.
