There is no set age for dating someone. You just have to make sure you really adore that someone, the way they should adore you. Older, younger...doesn't matter. Just remember it's what you want and deserve for yourself, not what society, and people around you think...you need to do what makes YOU happy, because in the end, that's what counts. Can't put an age on hapiness.

My own rule is 2 years younger to 5 years older.

A girl at 20 has very little in common with a man of 31.

Men that date much younger women are just taking advantage of their lack of life experience.

For the most compatible relationships I would say 5 years on either side of your age. Any more or less than this means dealing with people going through a different stage of life than yourself.

Old enough to have a conversation with that doesn't end in "who's Regan?"
I'd say no more than 8 years younger than yourself unless you want to think your date is stupid simply because she is young and inexperienced.

It depends on your maturity level, and what you are looking for in life. Like.. kids? Lifelong partner? Traveling? Etc. Probably anyone out of undergraduate college is fair game.

near your age is the norm. a few years older or younger. but whoever you are attracted to who is attracted to you and of legal age is appropriate.

I almost answered your question, until I realized how stupid it is. If you can't figure this out, you've got bigger problems than how old your date should be.
