i have a crush on this girl since junior year of high school. We rarely talk to each other, probably you could say never. She moved but i saw her working in the mall one day but i dont know how to start a conversation. It been two years now, i just want to be her friend. Any tips?

Don't approach her at the mall. It is awkward to be at work and have somone pop in and try and make a move. Her boss is there, she is getting paid to wait on customers, not talk to you. Pop in and say "hi" and that's it-- maybe ask if she gets a break and have a soda at the food court.

In the mall,she must be selling something.Just try to buy something and ask her about it.Like does she think it's cute(about whatever you are buying) or would it make a good present?.Ask her about the color?And then you can tell her she looks familiar to you,you think you went to the same high school.

Just ask her how she is doing and come out and ask if she wants to get lunch or a cup of coffee to catch up (save dinner for next time; lunch or coffee is more casual). If she says she is too busy, give her your number and tell her to give you a call when things aren't so busy, so your not presuring her and you don't look desperate. (I've told many men that I was too busy that week and they never asked again, but I really wanted to go out and just didn't have the time).

go into the store and get her to help you pick something out. if possible.. put her in a relaxing atmosphere w/ no pressure and just talk and be yourself. if she remembers you than great and if not then introduce yourself. it'll either be a really good or awkward moment at this point. if it is awkward then feel it out. she might be in too you she might not. don't stalk her. don't show up the next day, exchange email addresses or something.

go over and ask her if she'd like to get a cup of after work coffee or something sometime. i would think it was cute if a guy told me he remembered liking me in high school and wanted to hang out sometime. just keep it low key.
