I found one swollen lymph node behined my ear, it's soft, and painless to the touch(or even to press) Although I heared that a swollen, painless lymph node is a sign for cancer( even though I don't have any possible symptoms for cancer) It has been around for two weeks and I'm getting scared. What is the likelyhood of it being cancer growing?

I went to the doctor and told me that he wasn't exactly sure and sent me to the hospital for a blood test. Will a negative blood test rule out cancer?

Lymph nodes are a filter, and can be swollen when there is an infection in the body. You may have an ear infection throat infection, tonsils, etc. Don't start with cancer, start with virus. Get it checked out.

Most likely its been there for a long time and you have not noticed it. If you are really concerned go and have it checked by a doctor. Just keep checking it to make sure its not getting any bigger. Also, check to see if its movable under your finger, if it is then most likely its just an inflammed lymph node thats there due to a prior inflammation and is completely benign. If it is hard and none movable then go and have it checked out by a doctor.

It's more than likely just from a previous infection
Lymph nodes can stay swollen for a LONG time.
If you hear hoof beats, think of a horse not a zebra!
Isn't that a great analogy? In other words, think of the most likely cause, not unlikely.
