They are scared of their life. In past the Mullah dominated Islamic society had lynched many Sufi saints to death, because they spoke out on the Almighty God who is beyond sectarian lines drawn by the Islamic religion. Fatwas are being issued against persons like Salman Rushdie and Dr. Nazma, the female author from Bangladesh who are almost living a secluded life for fear of death.
The only solution to scare the Mullahs and Maulavis is to go for mass conversion from Islam to Buddhism or Hinduism so that they would bow down to a global trend. Otherwise, they would push the whole Islamic community of the world to total annihilation by the non-Islamic countries led by the USA.

There is no flaw in Jihad. Just that some took a wrong interpretation and apply it. Muslims are given the right to self-defence where they are being oppressed or being evicted from their own land. Jihad also means to refrain from an act of lust, greed, anger or hostilities where peaceful solutions is possible.
Many Moderate Islamic Clerics all over the world have spoken openly against the misinterpretation of Jihad and killing of innocent lives; be it Muslims or non-Muslims. Muslims also condemn terrorism and suicide bombings.
We can only advise , but some has already a deep rooted misunderstanding of Islam where they cannot accept otherwise.

If the extremist view is wrong, how many fatwas have been issued against such elements whose views harm the Muslim community as a whole?
Why openly some Muslim scholars do not come forward to condemn the extremist view and let the Americans learn what true Islam is?

Educated Muslims do not constitute a separate organised group to ventilate their differences with the religious clerics in the Islamic community. But wherever occasion arises they speak out in Islamic forums. As a result, there are lots of reformative measures undertaken to improve the lot in the Islamic society.

Its not that they can't openly speak, its that nobody is listening in the mass media. Muslims need to find a strong voice. Americans need to be educated about what True Islam is all about, and not the extremist view. The media has done a horrible job in explaining Islamic beliefs. If Americans knew the average Muslim beliefs they wouldn't have such harsh views against Islam, and they would understand that Islam promotes peace, and love. Not war, and killing.

In how many Islamic countries the terrorists or the Mujaheddin have been banned entry? Rather, those are their safe refuge after committing secret attacks. Is it what Allah approves? If we are educated and civilised more than those who are supporting terrorism, we must condemn it with out any hesitation.
