Absolutely do not listen to people when they tell you to do 900 sit-ups every night. I've been doing a whole ab routine practically every night now for nearly 11 years and I still have a little pooch. The truth is it really is tough to get rid of for people who have it by heredity. However, I have heard people say that it is the best to try and combine diet and exercise (duh). I've heard that cutting out carbs from your diet for 2 weeks and making sure you train well (run!) during those 2 weeks and eat lots of healthy food and drink tons of water is supposed to help. I'm a vegetarian and find it incredibly hard to go 2 weeks without any carbs (esp with this busy lifestyle), but try it and if it works for you I'll give it a go!! If you find another answer that works, please let me know (I've been dying for a solution). Good luck!

Some women have a genetic pouch that is almost impossible to get rid of unless you get really skinny and do tons of sit-ups. Liposuction or tummy tuck would work best if it's genetic.

Eat less red meat and carbohydrates(bread, potatoes, pasta) and more poultry and vegetables. Drink more water and less carbonated beverages. Drink less coffee and tea - caffeine slows down the digestive system. Park a distance from the entrance to the mall - unless it's raining "cats and dogs" - and walk. Join the "mall-walkers" every Saturday morning.(No need to walk at their pace - they walk much too fast for me too.) Do "bent-leg" sit-ups and touch the opposite knee with your elbows.
