if you're shooting around 55 a nine, you're probably about a 20+ handicap. you're going to want a forgiving iron, because lets face it you're not hitting the sweet spot everytime. the most forgiving irons, which is what you want, are perimeter weighted cavity backs. alot of different club manufacturers offer them, and it really comes down to personal preference. I suggest going to your local golf retailer and hitting a few different brands and seeing what works best for you. I find the most important factor is that you're comfortable looking down at the club and it suits your style. golf is mental and if you're not comfortable at set-up you won't perform as well. you're going to want something that is visually pleasing and will boost your confidence. shop around, ask questions, and most importantly take a lesson or two, and try to hit a bucket of balls 2 or 3 times a week. you'll notice a drastic improvement. those 55's will turn into 45's and then you'll be trying to break 80. practice, practice, and more practice. 2nd hand at your skill level is fine too, if you don't want to spend too much, but if money is no object go get custom fit. it makes a difference. always remember though it's not the arrow it's the indian. golf is a beautiful game and practice makes perfect.

It rather relies upon on the college. in case you hit around ninety for 18 you're able to make the squad yet no remember in case you start up or no longer is yet another tale. I had shot top 40s final 300 and sixty 5 days and became between #one million and #2 on the golf rotation. in case you have been at my college you will possibly in all possibility be suitable there with me. in line with possibility greater effective. in case you're speaking states in my county and state you should well-known below 40 for the season and the winner final 300 and sixty 5 days shot like a 35 on 9 or somthing like that. (-one million) par...yet overall, yeah this is a especially sturdy score. merely 10% of golfers can ruin a hundred on a direction and below ninety is approximately 2%. shop at it, get instructions, and sturdy success!

The brand is not as important as getting some forgiving clubs. With what you are shooting, you need to get more forgiveness on mis-hits. Go to a golf store and look for some cavity back irons that are more forgiving. If you slice your driver, you may want to consider one of the new square drivers. They will help straighten your drives.

mate, the clubs are not the issue here.
you need time out on the course. do NOT go to a range only to practice. continue to go out and play.
ALSO, DO NOT CHANGE CLUBS UNTIL YOU HAVE A SWING THAT GETS THE JOB DONE. once you feel comfortable in your shoes out there, you'll see a change in your stroke count.
one more thing, if your keeping score, you are not practicing mate...lose the scorecard for a few rounds. if you're alone, play a couple of balls with each shot.

I got this from an old timer....."You can't buy game!".... get your swing down. Take lessons from a good teaching Pro and Practice what He/She teaches you.....Once your swing is in the groove and only then is it really worth the investment in new clubs. Sorry......just the truth

Any clubs will do with that kind of scoring. What you really need is someone to show you the proper stroke and details about grip , stance and plane of clubs, etc. etc. THEN you can worry about clubs.
