Strong Atheists will say: "There is no God"
Weak ones will say: "I don't believe in God" or just simply have no belief in any deity

Atheism entails, minimally, the disbelief in the existence of any deities. It is contrasted with theism, the belief in a God or gods. Atheism is commonly defined as the positive belief that deities do not exist, or as the deliberate rejection of theism. However, others define atheism as the simple absence of belief in deities(cf. nontheism), thereby designating all agnostics, and people who have never heard of gods, such as newborn children, as atheists as well.In recent years, some atheists have adopted the terms strong and weak atheism to clarify whether they consider their stance one of positive belief (strong atheism) or the mere absence of belief (weak atheism).

Many self-described atheists share common skeptical concerns regarding supernatural claims, citing a lack of empirical evidence for the existence of deities. Other rationales for atheism range from the philosophical to the social to the historical. Although atheists tend toward secular philosophies such as humanism, rationalism, and naturalism, there is no one ideology or set of behaviors that all atheists adhere to.

In Western culture, atheists are frequently assumed to be irreligious or non-spiritual. However, some religious and spiritual beliefs, such as several forms of Buddhism, have been described by outside observers as conforming to the broader, negative definition of atheism due to their lack of any participating deities. Atheism is also sometimes equated with antitheism (opposition to theism) or antireligion (opposition to religion), despite many atheists not holding such views.

Atheism is a Religion that believes that there is no God. They put their trust in a Theory that has never been proven, which takes a lot of faith. Their only hope is that the world may somehow evolve to be better off because of their existance, which is another false belief. They enjoy fellowshipping with other nonbelievers and enjoy trying to persuade others to join their Religion by putting down those who believe in God. They twist Science to prove their predetermined outcomes. They do not realize that Satan is the Head of their Religion and it is him that they serve because they worship the creation instead of the Creator.

Simply the lack of belief in a god or gods.

Christians are atheists to every other religion's god, BUT their own - to the Christian God they are theists.

The typical use of atheism, however, is disbelief in ALL gods.

One can be a 'weak' atheist or a 'strong' atheist.

Where do you stand?

"I do not believe in God."
"I believe there is no God."

Atheism is a word which comes from the Greek particle "a" meaning "without," and the Greek noun "theos" meaning "god or gods."

A-theos, without god or gods.

An atheist then, is a person who believes that god or gods do not exist.
