Hey! we sleep just as much as we ever did, only like a cat. I am awake at night, but I slept half the day. The truth is, sleep patterns change as we age. We sleep just as much , just in shorter spans.

Older people need less sleep because their bodies need less time to recover from the days activities - especially if they are retired and are not very active physically.
