ok... i had a 3200m race today in track that I qualified for...

it was so awesome!!! i PRd by about 20 seconds... (11:12:44)i practically went all out on that thing...

just wondering, how am i supposed to go faster next time?

Congrats! If you continue to follow your coaches work outs you will continue to drop in time. One work out that I really found decreased my times for the 5k were mile repeats on the track. I would push myself as hard as I could for the mile and do a slow lap jog. I was able to get my time down quite a bit and I know it had to do wtih that work out.

Keep working hard and stay positive like you already are! An enthusiastic outlook and believing in yourself is half the battle!

if you feel like you're at the point where you can't run any faster, it may just depend on the conditions of the race whether you will PR next time or not. The weather, track, and the racers might affect you. Good luck!!

try to do more repetitions ,staring with 200 m. then 300 m
400 m so u can get more speed, also try to do more
exercise for ur legs
