first of all i will fall to my knees and weep ,and i am not a cry baby....i would not be able to speak....i would wait until HE gave me permission to stand .
I would hope GOD is pleased and says ''well done my child''.

Ah yes, Pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (somebody mentioned just today praying several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

It's kinda like asking what you will do when you win the lottery....it could happen, but it's highly improbable. I am quite sure there is no god. If he exists, he's quite the absentee father. He has done nothing to thwart the suffering and pain in the world. I know, I know....free choice. Give me a break. That is a cop out. If I saw my child suffering at ALL, I would do everything in my power to help him. Do you think that you would let your child touch a hot plate without intervention and then claim free choice as a defence in front of a judge? I don't think that would stand up in any reasonable environment. I liked the answer from one of the people on here: I would answer : where have you been all these thousands of years. Good question.

I will point out that he made me as I am, intelligent, skeptical, etc and provided no evidence that, despite serious inquiry, could overcome this nature that he has created.
Then, if he is unjust as you believe him to be, I will at least have the moral high ground in hell. If on the otherhand, he is just, as I believe, if he exists, he must be. He will welcome me and he and I will sit and have a beer. I will look on when he judges you, hopeing curious weather he will forgive your hatred and shallow acceptance when he created you for so much more.

i won't because i believe in him already and will meet him on the day of rapture! But your question is not very Christ like it is almost as if you are saying ha ha to all those who do not believe and this does not help others to find him. Maybe you posted this question to respond to all those who post questions that you feel are hurtful to you and what you believe but just remember Christ said we would be persecuted for his name sake, just some food for thought . God Bless.

I will probably say, "Ah, just as I suspected, you are not an old man with a white beard and a flowing robe, but a spiritual entity that was dressed in that get-up by people desperate to believe that the supreme being was a human-like father figure."

What will you say when you face mighty Zeus and you finally know that Yahweh of Israel is an impostor?
How will you then say , "I was in error."
How will you then say, "I was deceived by the Yahwists to deny you."?
How will you stand before the mighty gods of Olympus and explain your false monotheism?
Zeus is the Aegis Holder and King of All the Gods, and the lightning is in his hands and the thunderclap in his voice.
What will you do then when it is too late to bring your offerings to his holy temple or sing songs of praise at the foot of Mount Olympus?

I simply can't believe that a just, loving God could send a soul to Hell for all eternity simply for believing what seems so obvious: there is no god. At least, there's no evidence for one, no indication that one exists. In fact, I can't believe that a loving and just God could send anyone to Hell forever. That is not being loving, that is being vengeful and cruel. If your God is that vengeful and cruel, He can go ahead and send me to Hell, because I wouldn't want to spend eternity with a God like that.

I've found God, but not the Almighty God. I think we'll have to disagree on God's nature.

OK, you are in error, there is no god.
I don't believe in fictional characters, so if I said anything, I would be talking to myself.
It's getting late, I almost didn't spot the obvious Pascal's wager.
