Its not blood. The color of the feces is literally red. Should I worry? I know that sounds stupid. I just need to know more.

I AM ESPECIALLY WORRIED BECAUSE OF ALL THE DOG FOOD CONTREVERSEY.

i feed my dog iams puppy smart dry dog food.

if your sure it aint blood then it would probably be food coloring in the dogfood or in the dogs treats i just changed my dogs food 1 week ago and the same thing happened so i went and changed back to their normal brand and everythings back to normal hope this helps

it depends what you feed your dog but just to be safe call the vet. Be sure you know what food like dry dog food or can food you are feeding your dog because many dog food causes health problems. i stop feeding my dog iams cause it was recall for killing dogs and causing health problems

Call the vet, as with any signs of abnormality with your pet. My parents dogs feces were rainbow coloured once, but i found bits of crayon in it... That is always a possibility, you know. But still call the vet.

He likely eats treats or food that are causing a color variation.

My dog use to do that when I would give her science diet jerky treats

take her to a local vet to check it out but don't stress it's unlikely it's serious
