My question is this: I have a perscription for Clarinex, which is a perscription form of Claritin. With other allergy medicines I was told to take them the night before. With this one, the box has no special instructions.

If you have prior experience or can find any info about Clarinex on the internet, I would appreciate an answer on whether to take it the night before or in the morning.

Much Thanks.

Take Clarinex in the morning. Instead of making you drowsy, probably like your last medicine (which is why they said to take it at night), Clarinex wakes you up.

You have to try it out in the morning and see if it makes you tired. Although it is supposed to be non sedating there are some people who still get tried. If so, try it at night, my only worry is that you will not be covered all day if you are not taking it on a regular basis. If you are taking it daily then in a few days you should be covered most of the day, even if you take it at night.
