Yes it is. Your dog is still a puppy she should be allowed to mature physically and mentally before she is stressed with a pregnancy. Dogs this young usually do not make good mothers because they are not mature enough to handle the demands of a litter.

it is a very big risk because since the pomeranian is such a small dog and is at a very young age she could probably die from trying to give birth because she is still not strong enough and to try and save the pups she will probably have to c section. so if i were you i would wait until the pup is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. by then she should be ready for breeding.

It would be no different than child becoming pregnant on her first period her body has not developed fully thru the hips, so a c-section would likely be necessary , other health risk is that her bones and and muscle mass had not finished developing , if she becomes pregnant so young and energy needed to finish her grow will be used be partly used her puppies between the 2 she may like miscarry and if late term miscarriage she could die as well or the pups will be underdeveloped at birth and possibly to weak to feed., the delivery and feeding also takes a lot out of the mother, even healthy adult mothers tend to lose a lot of weight and their coat tends to look like h#ll by the time the pups are weaned, being she is so young and undeveloped yet she may not be able to feed her pups, so pups would die.

No reputable breeder would allow their females to become pregnant before they are 2 years old, it is simply not worth the risks to do so earlier for them.

Last problem if she does survive everything. just liky the 11 year old girl your dog is not mentally mature enough to care for her babies so will most likely neglect them which means she may not want to feed them, she may attack them she may not lick then them to stimulate their bodys, she may try to play with them and be too rough with them and kill them.

yes breeding her at 6 months in way to younge. Her body hasnt fully developed and she might still be growing. Also breeding her at that age might cause health issues for her and her pups. If you do that there is a good chance that she nor the pups will survive.

She's still a puppy... Wait until she's an adult.
12-18 months, at least, and you're better off waiting unitl she's 2 years old
Breeding her now would be like a 12 year old girl having a baby. It's physically possible, but hazardous to the mother and the baby.

It is very very hard on a puppy to have puppies. They cant keep themselves healthy while giving to their puppies too. She will suffer because she will give all to her puppies. She needs to be a healthy grown adult dog (2 years) to have the greatest chance of having healthy puppies.

Six months of age is too young for a dog to start breeding.

Wait until she is at least two years at the least.
