People are so hypocritical nowadays... People claim that I bash Christians on a daily basis, yet, they are the ones bashing Atheists for their beliefs..... If people say that they don't believe in God, then why shove it in their face?... leave them alone, with their beliefs... They know what is right and wrong, so leave them alone!!... Anyone else agree?

Kad: As a Christian, I AGREE with you. It demonstrates a lack of faith in God, for a Christian to attempt to change others or to try and "play God". I believe in the old adage: "Let go and let God". When it comes to religion, you will find the most grandiose and self-righteous people - spirituality is a different matter where the true and genuine Christian leaves the converting to God.

I agree, when it comes to religion, it's hard to sway people to your beliefs, and I don't think folks should. Everybody just needs to accept the fact that everybody believes something different and look at the good in people whether they are Christians or Atheists. Personally, I'm "on the fence". I believe in living for others and doing the most good you can in the short amount of time we have on this earth, but not necessarily in a "god" figure. And I REALLY don't believe in organized religion. I think that will be the end of civilization as we know it. All the hate, intolerance, war, created by religion.

Yes people are hypocritical and its because we are all sinners. A Christian should never leave a non-believer alone, he should talk with great respect for every ones feelings. Jesus has instructed us to spread the words of the bible. Those Christians that condemnn non-believers condem themselves, only God judges. Christians must simply love thy neighbor.

I agree with you ... to some extent. I believe that there are lot of "christians" out there that "bash" on other beliefs. Or are very judgmental. But in defense to other Christians. In their hearts they love us very much that they don't want to see us go to "hell" for not believing in Jesus. Thus the action of "shoving" it in our face. Most of them are just trying to save us.
So .. if you find someone trying to shove "Christianity" in your face. Just tell them you're not interested and walk away. And if that doesn't work just take the bible in their hand and beat them with it.

I agree, but maybe I'm being hypocritical by saying this.. (I'm an atheist) ..Since by agreeing on this I'm saying that Christians bash me very often, while I'm sure I've said many things that would be offensive to them.

I completely agree. It's getting to the point that I want to return to my less tolerant Christian-bashing days again at times, though I have learned tolerance, because they keep fulfilling their terrible sterotypes and judging me as a terrible person simply because I think for myself rather than letting my rents spoon feed me my beliefs.

actually it is you atheists that are more likely to try to force your beliefs on people. i believe in the heavenly father and will be saved. i'm sorry that you wont be but i dont waste my time trying to convince people with your beliefs it doesnt concern me. i was an atheist but i have been convinced that there is a god and that jesus was our savior and died on the cross for our sins.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT. You are my God, even though I am an atheist. Christians don't know what is right for the world. What is good for them is not necessarily good for everyone else. FIGHT THE MACHINE.

Most Christians that I know just leave other people with their reglion alone,I think its more of just the person then the entire group of people for that reglion that you seem to blame.
