Tonks - I think it is a legitimate question to get you to think about how sure you really are about your own beliefs.

Of course. I'm a Taoist. In Taoism, all things are true, it's just that some approaches give more desireable results than others.

In an infinite universe, everybody's right at some point!

I would say that the God of the scriptures is true and yes Jesus Christ is eternal God. I would have absolutely no hesitation answering this question even if my own life depended upon the correct answer. This is the correct answer.

I don't have to guess but yes, I would bet my life on that and only on that. I would have no problem placing my religion as a beacon to save anyone else's life as well. For me it is not a guess.

I do have to "guess" correctly to save peoples lives on a daily basis. I work as an ER doc.
But I'm an atheist, so you probably don't want me to answer.

I too am an atheist, which means that if I was religious I would have to "guess" my religion was false. Although there really is no guess work involved when every religion is so obviously flawed and foundationless.

I know you will not agree... but I'd bet my own life and the life of anyone I cared about that there is no true religion... no god.

I would go with saying my views are as close to the truth as I can achieve and in that way they are true.
