Depending on the breed.
U wouldnt want to call a Pitbull "gentle", yah?
Easiest way : Boy Boy for a male dog, Girl Girl for a female dog.. hahaha..
But I've known owners who calls their Golden Retrievers Sunshine, Golden, Rust.. which all sounds good to me.

I had a gold lab for 16 yrs and his name was Jojo. I read the bestseller Marley and Me, which was about a gold lab. After reading the book I said that my next dog would be Marley, male or female.

If it's a girl I would either do Debbie, Daisy, Diva, Fluffy, or Maddie. If it were a male then I would do either Chewy, Patches, Max, Spotters, or Jacob. I hope this helps! Good luck finding a name!

My German Shepard is named Dago Shenanigans Bo (goes by Dago (or daages or daggy..whatever comes out! Its original and silly) The original name we had was Bo, but we changed it since its close to no and they go by tone so that wouldn't have worked!
