Yes, homeschool groups have proms. There are proms all over the country.
We have a large prom in our area that sold out close to 1000 tickets in less than a month. Early registration was supposed to go for a month and those tickets only lasted 8 days. the entire sale was supposed to last four months. That is awesome if you ask me!!!! (and you kinda did, lol)
there are homeschool proms everywhere. If you do not belong to a local homeschool group, check with your state homeschool agency, group, or coalition for a prom near you.
they are very very nice, and if you find one that is not sold out already (it's getting late) you will have a great time!

Some homeschoolers are allowed to take part in their local high school proms. Other homeschoolers have their own homeschooling prom, perhaps as the result of a support group or just a bunch of homeschooling kids deciding they want that.
I live in a place in Canada where we don't have proms (proms have typically been a very American thing, although I hear that's they're becoming popular in some Canadian cities), so the homeschoolers don't do proms at all here--but neither do the public school or private school kids!

When I was homeschooled, I never heard of the other older homeschooled children having a prom. I guess it depends.

Yes, if they want to. There is a great article in the Dec 06 Home Education Magazine about this very topic:
A Night to Remember - by Patti Pitcher - page 31
When Patti Pitcher's daughter wanted to wear a formal gown, she and her best friend decided to plan a prom, answering once and for all that ubiquitous question: What about prom?

My son and his girlfriend (now his wife) attended prom two years at her local high school even though they were both homeschooled. She had lots of friends from the school through her many activities.

i think of in Washington, the numerous homeschool companies % in the event that they're doing a prom variety adventure. there's no longer one for the full state. there's a commencement nighttime for infants the graduate in the time of the Washington Homeschool companies commencement ceremony. that is oftentimes the nighttime before commencement, and the infants constantly have blast. wish you detect the solutions you're searching for for.

Well, at a school near you usually you can go to their prom, they'll let you. Or you can be asked to someone elses. I hope this helps and I hope you get a prom! :)

I think the school district that they live in is required to allow them to attend, but it may be odd since 90% of the prom experience is social and you may not know many faces.
