What is the best way to repair damaged hair? plz help!?

MY hair is very thick and damaged how can i repair it quickly and easily?

My hairdresser told me the best deep condition you can do for your hair is to warm a towel in the dryer, until it is quite warm. While you are waiting for this, wash and condition your hair as you normally would, but DON'T rinse the conditioner out. Wrap your wet, conditioned hair in the warm towel for at least an hour. Rinse afterwards.
She swears by this.

I am a daughter of a hair dresser (probably the best in my town) =) I have long dark brown hair which is naturally curly but i like to straighten it alot. that leaves my hair with lots of damage but....if you have ever heard of 'Silk Therapy" it works wonders...you probably have to go to a salon and get it though a little bottle is about 15 dollars and a big bottle around 24. "Silk Infusion" is also really good use it befor you curl, straighten, or blow dry you hair, it also acts as a leave in conditioner for as long as you want, the only down side is if you put too much it can make you hair look greasy. It works wonders!
