emailing a girl?

is it cool to email a girl and tell her you like her...i know this girl at work, but we both work in different departments... i emailed her asking her for her personal email address. She replied back and then I sent her another email to her personal address telling her that i like her and if she could give me her phone number so i can call her. Was that a stupid thing to do????

what happened to good old days where you can come up to a girl and actually talk to them face to face. It wasnt stupid, but it wasnt smart.

just wait and see what comes out of it. you already made the move, it's up to her now.

the only thing i would say is for you not to follow up on the confession. you don't want to appear desperate or stalkerish-like. if she gives you the number cool if not, still email her as a friend once in a while. will show her that you are a cool guy.

it's a bad way to tell her u like her, however it's a good way to start talking to her. it's easier than getting her phone number. girls are less likely to give out their number, but email address is fine usually. it's also easier to email her than to make that first phone call; the one where you write down a few things to say, dial 6 numbers then hang up.

um pretty stupid, what you have to do is tell her that you like her in person and ask her out, or the other way around
