Maybe he is not retarded, and you just hate they way he is, so if he does anything they it will bother you an you will think its retarded, or it could be health problem which a doctor would be the only one that could tell you that.

Is this a serious question? Is your brother really challenged or is this just a kid saying---"he's so---". the only reason I ask is because I grew up with a brother who was mentally challenged (apparently that's the new p.c. term--he was retarded for years--then suddenly he was handicapped, then "special", then challenged). No one knows why -- it's a curse when you're growing up and have friends over, trying to explain it all. Then you grow up and discover that your brother has made you a better person, more tolerant, more caring, more appreciative of what you have. My "special, challenged, retarded" brother died a year ago at 58--and I have to say without him I wouldn't be the person I am today, I went from baby sis to big sis to a mother figure--I wouldn't change a thing - other than having him hanging over my shoulder right now saying "so who are you talking to now? What channel is wrestling on!?", having his snack and before I go to bed his big hug and him saying "I'm so glad your my sister--I love you!"

how old is your brother? Maybe he is just more intelligient than you and you don't seem to understand. What ever it is, he is not retarded he is just like the rest of us just more advance and we are the ones retarded because we can't keep up.He is special in the Lords eyes and no one can say any difference.

Maybe because he is just plain weird. While he sleeps try to stay up. Tikle him with a feather on his nose, but before you do that put some spray stuff in his hand. Then the next step.
