Dude chill out enjoy ur childhood. Its crazy how kids these days are trying more and more to act like adults. Girls aren't even developed at 11 so wait for a few years, until then just have fun with friends and family, because this is the right time. Believe me, I am 18, and when u get into relationships, its like a drug, i get high and then start losing and going downhill from there. Avoid it until much later than 11 plz I beg u

Hey. I am a 12 year old girl. Yea you have to flirt, talk to her in the hall and things. Charm her! give her a complimenent! Ask her what the assignment was in math class. Whatever way to get you two to talk. Then, if the time is right ask her to a movie, if she says no, well i dont know. But if she says yes and the date goes well, ask her out again. and so on, soon you 2 may be meant for eachother! Also find things that you two have in common. That sure would start up a conversation.

You should probably wait on the girlfriend thing but you can get a good start by becoming friends with girls as well as your guy friends so you can become more comfortable around girls and get to know and understand them better.
