I am. I don't know why you're asking, but if you want to talk, you can message me. I was diagnosed a few years ago and just recent found the right med cocktail to stablize me to the point of living a normal life.

Yes, I was diagnosed at 8 and I am 13... Why? But just to let you know, it's an illness that is hard for most people to understand... So if you are doing what my x-friend did, asking to "see how many crazy bipolar freaks will answer" you are very cruel.

More people than you would know about. There are two types, Bipolar Type 1 and Type2. The type one is what people usually think of when then think of bipolar (manic episodes intermixed with severe depressive episodes). Type 2 does not have manic episodes but usually episodes of depression intermixed with episodes of anxiety and increased energy (can also be easily upset, angry and agitated)

yes-diagnosed 7 years ago---why? its a scary and lifelong mental illness, and taking ur meds is REQUIRED once prescribed---ive been hospitalized 9 times since 2001, and when manic, arrested once---theres always a crash into some level of depressing agter every hypo-manic or manic episode---so, even when mania seems fun--it really REALLY does suck........
