I am certain there are some reformed Amish who left on "Rumspringa" and adopted the "evil world" leaving behind the peaceful, sensible world of the Amish.
You just never know when you might be reading the comments of an "Amish", now do you?

Here we go again, laugh at the "freaks".
Look, don't get me wrong, I think everyone should be laughed at in an equal manner. I just think it's quite ironic that had such a chauvinistic remark been made about one of the "big" religions there would have been all sorts of outrage and the proverbial gnashing of the proverbial teeth.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - on the bare facts, Amish (Scientologist, or Plymouth Brethren, or any other minority religion's) beliefs are no more or less credible than Christian, Jewish or Muslim beliefs.
Oh and to poweranni - you go Amish girl!

Well, lets see there is this modern invention called electricity that the computer has to be powered by, and Amish people have chosen not to use electricity....hmmm, I wonder who spends the least time worrying about stress?

They're not into technology or the modern world. They use what God created not what man designed. However, God created man and gave him the mind to build things. So...really they should come into the modern world.
