with Mexico taking back Texas and California, we can secede and after 2 or 3 short years, the libs will pull their troops out and we can enjoy life again, without any libs, because the Mexicans will have to deal with what's in California and the North can worry about things like Global Warming and we won't have to listen to their crap anymore, GOD BLESS DIXIE

There are two things glaringly apparent in both the question posted and the replies that have followed it.
The first is that the person asking the question is SO far out of touch with reality that it defies imagination. Mexico is not "taking back" California and Texas, and I don't see that happening. I would imagine that the governments of the states, not to mention the feds, would have something to say about that. And I'm still trying to figure out what "the libs" would have to do with pulling out troops...just what troops, exactly? And also, genius, who said that the problem that is Global Warming stops at the Mason-Dixon line? I'm from the South, and I'll be the first to tell you that it's uneducated simpletons with a big mouth such as yourself that give the "non-Southerners" in this country all the ammunition they need to throw at us.
The second is that the "good" people of the North still look down their noses at the people of the South, much in the same way that they did in the 1800s. That was a large part of the reasons for secession in 1860 and 1861, and it appears that the attitudes of the Yankees still hasn't changed. The comments about "getting the trash out of the country" and the "IQ being raised" if the Southern states seceded again only proves my point. The Yankees in this nation aren't as smart as they think they are, and they prove it each time they open their mouths. This "holier and better than thou" attitude that the Yankees still have is just as much to blame for the problems in our nation as the ignorant ravings of a redneck with a big mouth.
I wish both sides would just shut the hell up and get on with more important things!

I have a feeling if you actually give liberals a reason to fight... not some veiled WMD excuse... you may be in for some trouble...
and you realize... you would have to kill American troops... but the liberals are the one's against the troops...right?
I think you're "Patriotism" only applies as long as you can't find a better deal somewhere else... like "the Dixie Nation"...

go ahead and secede from the greatest nation on earth - no one will lift a finger to keep your trailer park, red neck asses in this blessed nation.
the southern red states are nothing but a blight and a drag on an otherwise beautiful and prosperous nation.
we don't need you.
but if you lack the stomach to actually leave secede, you can always just do what your new god, haliburton did and move to dubai and just keep telling yourself that you're patriotic.

Hmmmm...Hell I'm with you. I hadn't thought of it like that.
Where I live, we can tough it out for 3-4 years and not miss a beat. Have meat & taters everyday....I have a hoe and a gun :) and lots of furry critters running around.
D@#M you sured PO'd some folks. I guess the ones that are really mad, know that they'll be driving foriegn made cars again LOL....since they ran the car industry out of the north.

Different set of issues for the South to secede this time, but it strikes me as being better than the reason they did it the first time. Count me in. I don't want to live around liberals.
