-Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) saw the archangel Gabriel (The Holy Spirit) in his angelic form twice,he had 600 wings and he blocked the sky sitting on his chair.

-here God is talking about Gabriel teaching Muhammad (pbuh):

053.005 He was taught by one Mighty in Power (Gabriel)
053.006 Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form);
053.007 While he was in the highest part of the horizon:
053.008 Then he drew nigh and came down
053.009 Till he was (distant) two bows' length or even nearer,
(QURAN)

-035.001 Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appointeth the angels messengers having wings two, three and four. He multiplieth in creation what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. (QURAN)

The angels have no form. They can appear as anything that they want. But in the Quran it is stated that they are always in a state of sujud or ruku'.

In the name of Allaah Most Benefit Most Merciful
All praise be to Allaah the Lord of all worlds
May Allaah's peace and blessing be upon His prophet, his family and companions

Ayats and hadeeths which talk about malaks tell us that were created from light - noor, they're not material, they don't look like human beings at all; they don't eat, drink, sleep, don't get married, we don't say for them that they can be males or females, they don't have any 'animal passions'; they're not like humans at all. [see: Sharh Mulla 'Ali Al-Qaari' 'ala-l-akbar, p.11; Al-'Aaqidatu-l-Islamiyyah li Sayyid Saabiq, p.111; Fath Al-Baari', 6/232]

They can appear in human form:
''relate in the Book (The story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family To a place in the east. She placed a screen (To screen herself) from them; then we sent to her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.'' Maryam, 16-17

Also, in the famous hadeeth, when Jibreel AS came to Muslims to teach them their faith, 'Umar RA desribed him as a man with very black hair, whote clothes, on whom were no signs of travel. AlBukhary and Muslim

They can have 2, 3 or more wings:
''Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings, two, or three, or four (Pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things.'' Faatir, 1

Specially, Jibreel AS has 600 wings. Saheeh Al-Bukhaary me'a Fath Al-Baari'.

And all praise be to Allaah the Lord of all worlds
And may Allaah’s blessing be upon His prophet Muhammad, his family and companions
