Must I do more? and must I eat less fattening food?

It's because you haven't decreased your body fat percentage. You can do a million situps and still have a normal stomach...It should be flat, but probably no six pack.

So you'll have to do exercises that decrease your body fat % and make sure your diet is also suited for that.

Ok babe situps are like *** crunches and really hurt the next day how the heck do ya sit on something u need a cushion lol

Eat less fat thats a must for nice abs but also eat healthy, like lots of protein shake stuff and vegetables for those minerals and fruits and juices for vitamins.

You probably have really strong thighs and glutes, sure ur not in football hehe jk

Probably a combination of things.
I DO NOT advocate Adkins diet, but the reason why people like it is that it speeds up things like getting a six fat.

There are layers of flesh that need to be broken down. Stores of carbohydrates, fat, and general body inertia.

500 every other day WILL eventually garner you a very toned abdomen, but if you combine it with less fat (esp. trans), and more water it will happen more quickly.

Also, make sure that your form is good. 500 situps done poorly is really only like 250-300 situps.

good luck :)

You probably need to do cardio to lose (sorry) fat that is in front of your six pack. Also, try 250 situps/crunchups each day rather than every other day.. And you probably need to make sure you're eating healthy food too. My friend has a belly that really sticks out, but she's otherwise pretty thin.. She'd probably have to starve herself to get rid of it. If you're like that, be content with your stomach. It's probably flat anyway, isn't it?? Six packs are kind of freaky looking anyway.

You have to be very lean for the muscles to show through.

You don't need to do 500 a day to get the muscles.

Fewer reps will be fine. Make sure you perform good quality ones though.
Resting every other day would actually be beneficial to you though.
As would getting more protien (it also reduces your apetite, so you can actually eat less. That's believed to be how the atkins diet works.)

And, dude, you're a girl, right?

you have to add in cardio to burn off the fat that's covering your abs. Make sure you're doing the sit ups with good form too, because otherwise, all of that work will be for naught. If you really want a strong core, I think you should take up pilates. It slims and strenghtens -- all at the same time :)

I have tried so many things, but theres only one thing which has left me speechless. THE ABS DIET. I am not advertising, and I hate books , especially ones about diets. But, when I looked into it, I totally bought this book. However you can get it, I would, I got like an 8 pack now, and this is my sole guide. Thanks for your time and good Luck.

Ps. I aint ever hungry neither.
