If you're looking for a red wine with dinner and want something that's on the sweeter, uncomplicated side; then look for red wines labeled as 'table wines'. These are a blend of grape and are produced on the sweeter side. These are a good way to start without getting frightened by the snobbery associated with wines.
Don't be afraid to ask the workers at the wine shop for suggestions. The vast majority of them are helpful and knowledgeable.

You dont want red whine, you would like blushes better. Blushes are the pink wines. Red wines are the strongest and most bitter wines. Pinks are the sweetest and fruity.

Try a Brown Brothers Dolcetto and Syrrah - ripe summer berries and the natural grape sweetness. It's not overly fruity or sweet but it is not really really dry like some can be.

U should try Black Muscat. It is a dessert wine, sweet and very easy to drink. My husband does not like wine the way I do, but when he tried muscat, he fell in love with it.
