I have been wondering about what's after this life. Sometimes it is really scary to think about. Some people say oblivion. Some say Heaven. I am a Christian, but I am also too much of a realist and have doubts sometimes. I would like to have more faith, and believe that I will go to heaven, but that is not always the case.

I am a Christian. I believe what the Bible says. If you have accepted God into your heart and have asked forgiveness for your sins, you will go to Heaven and live with Him. Therefore, I am not scared of the afterlife. Sometimes, when I've really pondered it, it's very hard to imagine. I don't doubt that it exists at all, it's just very hard for me to understand a life with no unhappiness, disease, death. But I can tell you I cannot wait to get there and see my grandparents again and to meet God face to face! It will be an experience!

A realist's answer:

I don't know. Because I'm still not there. I'm still living this life and of course you know that's more important.

About Faith, maybe this can help you:

"Faith is a state of openness or trust. To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don't grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float. And the attitude of faith is the very opposite of clinging to belief, of holding on. In other words, a person who is fanatic in matters of religion, and clings to certain ideas about the nature of God and the universe, becomes a person who has no faith at all. Instead they are holding tight. But the attitude of faith is to let go, and become open to truth, whatever it might turn out to be."

If you would like to have more faith, the bible says "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". There is a sure way to be confident and assured. Find a good bible study and dig in. Study and learn and you will come to have a solid foundation under your feet that nothing can take away from you. God bless you.

Death is easy, don't complicate it. As a realist you have realize that this is a training course or education course whether you fail or pass. And faith holds the key. Just take a look around, you know in your heart.

The Lord tells us in 2Timothy that He does not give us a spirit of fear. So, let go and let God give you the comfort and reassurance you need thru His Holy Spirit. Doubt comes from the enemy, satan putting fear and doubt in our hearts to lure us away from Jesus. Battle the enemy with Scripture. Even Jesus quoted scripture when satan tried to tempt Him when Jesus was in the desert for 40 days. Do not listen or believe people who do not know the Lord!! Always discern every answer here with The Word of God. You can know you are going to heaven according to God's Word. Satan tries to rob, steal and destroy. Satan is robbing you of your assurance of heaven and trying to steal your faith. Pray to Jesus for strength and continue to nourish your spirit with the Word of God so that you will grow in the Lord. God bless.

Jesus already dealt with it. I trust what He says about it. He's my Savior, so why should I worry? The Bible says,"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Spend more time studying the Bible-find out what God's promises are for those who trust in Him. He doesn't want you to be afraid or unsure. When you know what God really says, you'll grow in your faith.

Honestly, I'm usually too concerned about this life to worry about the next one. I believe in reincarnation.

Epehesians 6: 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Put on that armor when you come under attack, because that is what is happening to you. "Draw near to God, and He will Draw near to you"(James 4:8)

Also 2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind

Hope this helps you.

God Bless
