Unfair. Some people want big families and they have a right to a big family as long as they are fully capable of supporting such a family. A 2 child policy would help control overpopulation but its not really fair to individuals in my view. Also a 2 child policy might increase the abortion rate. And what would happen to the good parents who have more than 2 children? Would a woman's tubes be tied after a 2nd child? Would a man have to be snipped after a second child?

China, child abandonment, genocide but more specifically against a certain sex - not sure what the correct word for that is, child-unfriendly policies, people who don't value others.

A misguided and poorly executed form of population control.

If we'd quit idiot-proofing and mother henning everything and everyone in the world, natural selection might take care of population control for us.

But then, I probably wouldn't be sitting here typing this response. :)
