Like god, he put us in this planet full of many challenges he may give us a hand but hes not gonna fix everything for us!!! we gott do our part!! im tired of people not caring for the enviroment its stupid! We may be the most free country, but gosh dangit! stupidest aswell!! no kidding, fattest country in the world and leading cause of pollution! that is sad!

What does Global Warming have to do with a belief in God that you do not have to believe if you don't want to? I am Christian and don't believe that firmly in Climate Change (the NEW term coming out for Global Warming). It is all a matter of personal choice. Why go on a religion bash over something the even the scientists you quoted don't agree on? For Christs sake ... get a life and stop trying to prove everyone else wrong because no one will be more right over another. I wont force you to believe in my personal religious beliefs and you will NEVER get me to give in to the silly (in my view) concept that science can disprove the existence of God. So please, save us all some time and give up ... now, can we all go on to mature conversations that don't end in finger pointing?

I can only deduce from your words that you are American, as in my experience people of other countries don't verbalise their assumption that they are the only country in the world, even if they hold such an assumption.

As to America being "the most free country" - perhaps I can start taking that claim seriously when you actually have an electoral system which is in a real way representational of the views of the majority. I am Australian. While I might despair of my fellows' choice of government, at least I can be confident that the outcome really is the view of the majority of individuals in this country.

It is sad what we are doing to our environment. There are solutions, but many don't want them; such as the idiots who won't allow wind generation because it may interfere with their view of something or other; as if the smog doesn't already.

Bio-fuels may seem a good idea, but we also need to reduce our dependence of carbon fuels altogether; if we start deforestation to provide more farmland for ethanol and such, we'll still be going down the same road.

Solar power (directly, or to produce hydrogen), geothermal energy, perhaps fusion when it becomes economical and other clean forms of energy really need to be explored. You need also to determine the ultimate source of the energy you are using. An electric car, or hybrid may use less gasoline, but charging the batteries at home uses energy from the grid that may use fossil fuels. The CAR may be cleaner, but how much fuel was used to charge the battery?

Global warming is a modern term for end-time prophecy. It's described in the Bible. Science overrules the Bible? Funny, the Bible described global warming long before you ever heard the term.

Man, you are headed for a breakdown with rantings like that. First of all, you should read up on WHO is responsible for the massive pollution you so detest. It is NOT the USA, check out any satellite system you care to and you will see the crude in the atmosphere is coming from eastern Europe, china and the Russian industrial locations. After you find out the TRUTH, go take a nap, you need it! :)

What does religious belief have to do with believing in global warming????

I'm sure you've heard that story / joke about a guy who was stranded atop a roof during a flood and turned down 2 boats & a copter that came to rescue him....saying that 'God' would save him. He obviously drowns & when he meets God he asks why He didn't come to save him. God says I sent you 2 boats & a helicopter.

The point is that God has put each one of us here to help the other. As a Christian, that's one of my firmest beliefs.....we have to help each other to overcome this climate crisis. You're absolutely right that each one of us has to do our part....whether its carpooling, or walking instead of driving, avoiding plastic, conserving water, using less paper or recycled paper...every lil bit helps.

Anthropomorphic global warming is a myth invented by Al Gore to scare the gullible masses and make a ton of money off of carbon offsets. In other words, the Earth is getting slightly warmer but there's nothing anyone can do about it.

And I'm not a Christian if you're wondering.

I do believe in global warming, but I'm not going to be bent out of shape about it. Too many things to worry about, and that I'm not going to add to my list, not to say that I am not concern about the way we are endangering ourselves and others by what we do to our planet but..... I am more concern about the person who drew the 'middle finger and their '*******' name. How can YA accept something like that.....?
