Of course. All it takes is an absence of politicians and intolerant religious leaders. It's when we listen to people who tell us who are enemies are that we have conflict.
Who starts all the wars? The politicians. That's how they maintain control. Why should the people in one nation hate the people in another? Why should one religious faith hate another? There is no good reason.
When I was in Iraq, Christians and Muslims got along very well. And why not? They are friendly and tolerant, contrary to what you hear on television. True, there are a small number of trouble makers who follow their radical clerics, but most of the people reject them.
Anyone who tells you who you should hate, is your enemy.

They already co-existing in peace in most parts of the world. However, many steps should be taken from both sides (especially from Islam side) to accept the other so that people will have more peace.

I ought to disagree with somebody above me. The Byzantine Empire became destroyed by utilising Latin Christians while they sacked and burned Constantinople and left the city in ruins. To right this moment there's a non secular schism between Orthodox and Western Christians. plenty so as that the utmost of the orthodox Christians patriarchs remains located in Istanbul (the midsection of a ninety 9% muslim us of a).

It is possible for any doctrines to co-exist peacefully if they reject violence. If you can find a way to debate opposing views without killing each other, then you're on the right track. Not that your views are right, of course. :-)
