My heart just sank. First, you need a blood test to see if your liver is ok, secondly bring this to the pharmacy's attention NOW. I can tell you exactly what happened.. when a doctor writes for you to take 1 pill once a day it is written 1 t po qd when it's 4 times a day it's 1 t po QID. BUT this dose is crazy and no one takes a statin QID this shouldn't have happened. I apologize for the mistake on behalf of the pharmy, since i'm one too, and we do make mistakes. If you want to help us... write to big chains and ask them to stop making us have astringent rules like our store will get reprimanded if our scripts aren't done in 10 minutes. try doing 50 scripts all due in 10 minutes at the same time... it's really trying and it should change. good luck!

If your doctor told you to take 40mg a day, and the PHARMACY told you to take 160mg per day, the pharmacy has made a mistake and you should talk to your doctor immediately. This is not uncommon, unfortunately -- sometimes a pharmacist can't read a physician's writing and puts the wrong numbers or even the wrong DRUG into the system. You should do what your doctor tells you, not what the pharmacy tells you. Call your doctor ASAP and get this sorted out.

You've received the correct advice to contact your health care provider.
It seems prudent that they would want you to have some lab work to evaluate liver function.
There isn't/t any reasonable explanation for this error.......a competent pharmacist would no that this is twice the maximum recommended dose.
Even if they believed this dose to be the ordered dose, by your provider....they should have questioned it.
Should you be harmed in anyway, it would seem that you would have some recourse.
Everyone should be cognizant of the HUGE numbers of medication errors that occur in health care delivery.
There is so much pressure for providers to expedite every thing. The consumer's only productive position would be to ask lots of questions and to expect personalized and competent services ( Hey they aren't in-expensive,
Hope that You are well.

Do bypass back on your GP, bypass as an emergency in case you ought to, you ought to sleep. i can not say however if it particularly is secure or to not take the diazepam, and there must be a rationalization why they are actually not waiting to prescribe them alongside with those drugs. it particularly is which you ought to objective yet another mix of pills because of the fact the edginess ought to have long handed by way of now. i stumbled on on 20mg of Citalopram i replaced into drowsing sixteen hours an afternoon, possibly the medicine counteract one yet another. the two way, keep going back until eventually you're happy. 3 hours a night isn't something like sufficient, it will make you experience edgy and ill. good success, and God bless.
