It has overgone its meaning, its simple "love god and love your neighbor". What is so hard to comprehend about it?! seriously, christians will critisize you, even try to convert you! when they should just spread gods work instead of changing the way people live and gossiping. I swear i have not seen any person gossip more then a christian! not joking!

Birds of a feather flock together....it sounds like you like doing the same. I am a Christian, and I hate gossip and gossipers, I mean I detest it and it's bearers. Any body tries to bring another name or business to me, I immediately direct them to the person or I usually tell them "Whatever you tell me about X I am going to tell X what you just told me" the end of the gossip. I put an end to it before it begins.

Consider what you see on the news. PTL club is like a used car sales company. Jim and Tammytee Baker robbed everyone blind. Jimmy Swaggart, wasn't he the one who said God would kill him if he didn't get a few million dollars within a certain amount of time.

I think you have misunderstood what it means to be a Christian. While 'love God and your neighbor as yourself' are the most important commandments, they are not all that Christ himself said to his disciples. he also said 'go and teach all nations, baptizing them ...' etc.
Christians don't have an excuse for being worse than other people, but in fairness they do hold themselves up to very high standards. 'corruptio optimorum pessima est', what?

yes that is true , there are even racist christians. They arent as good as they appear, they just try to act good and religious for attention
