i have been going out with my boyfriend for quite awhile now but i cant see him very much because he lives 30 mins away. he is often getting in trouble for his grades. he got a C on his midterm so now he can only see me once a week. Ive been asking him to do his homework more because he is very smart but lazy with homework. he always says that he is doing it well most of it. today i found out from his mom that he has two Ds and he only has 4 classes so now he cant see me for 6 weeks if his grades stay the same. i love him very very much and even if he got grounded i would stay with him but i dont want that to happen what should i do??

uh... how about not having a boyfriend who is still a boy and concentrate on school and perhaps concentrate on your grades, and i would totally concentrate on not getting pregnant by a boy who is clearly not ready to have any time of responsabilities??? but then again, that's just me... =0)

Maybe you should not let him call are come by for a week, even if he can then he will know that you not going to except him being lazy so you may be able to help him get better grades.

If you do really care for the well being of this boy, set him straight. There is nothing wrong with telling him of your concerns with his life. It's not being nosy or naggy, it's showing that you CARE. If you want him to do good, tell him straight up that you're worried about his performance(academically-wise) in school. Tell him you want him to start doing this work. If he cares for you as much as you do, he'll take your advice to heart. If not, than it's time to ask yourself is this the right person for me. Seriously, if someone is doing nothing to better their own life, it's not a good thing.

I speak from experience, my 'crush' is going through tough school times(his grades suck), I told him I was worried about him and gave him advice on how to change his grades for the better. Thankfully, he took it seriously and is doing a lot better now in school. We're not going out though(even if we both like each other). We both thought it was better for him to concentrate on his school work than other things.

He's a big boy. Let him live his life. Tell him that is sucks that you can't see each other and that he is the one who causes this. But besides that you shouldn't do anything, he doesn't want two moms.
