Is it possible to get physically affected by anxiety and not know you are getting an anxiety attack????

I agree with eddie955, It takes a long time to recognize them . . .But if you do notice them bothering you, go and talk to a Dr, they can help , depending on how much it's bothering you. take this from someone with experience.

I have been suffering from anxiety attacks off and on for over 10 years. You never get used to them. You can tell yourself that next time it won't be so bad, but it always is, and it's always scary. Sometimes you'll think you're dieing. But yes, there are a LOT of physical symptoms that come with anxiety attacks. What symptoms are u having? To be safe, get checked out by a doctor. If they don't find anything physically wrong, then you are having anxiety attacks.

Yes. If you have never had one it can take a long time to recognize it
