Yes, it CAN cause worse problems, despite what some people will tell you here. While the chemical effects of marijuana do cause a sense of elation and/or relaxation, it is your body and brain that is adjusting to the introduction of THC into the bloodstream. After a person smokes this, he does get to the point where he yearns to have more, and will often act out if he is unable to obtain it and provide his brain and body with THC. It DOES vary in people, but a person with emotional issues really should not be smoking marijuana or any other type of illegal drug. The same can be said about alcohol, but it is currently legal. Both substances can cause problems, and I think you are asking because you think the dope will cause a person with anger issues to calm down. It MIGHT, but albeit temporarily. I can tell you it will only make matters worse. Suggest other alternatives, such as exercise, which releases natural endorphins in your body, and makes a person feel elated, and is free and easy to do. Relaxation techniques, calm music, yoga, etc., are all techniques to try.

It can really occupy someone and give them a hobbie to have to oneself instead of hating that which has angered them so it can lead to good mental health with a clarity of coordination. Look close at my words and see the pros and cons. The ususal prey on the weak delusional should get his worst BTK act started sooner than later so no-one has to keep waiting.

I agree with melinda. I have anger issues and marijuana makes me calm and sleepy. I find it easier to play around with my kids since I am not as uptight as I normally am. I don't understand how alcohol is legal and not this. I've seen alcohol do many bad things. As long as it's just marijuana and not leading to anything else, I think it's a great help.

People with mental health issues should not be using any drug, including alcohol. They need to see their doctor and get control of their problems. Smoking pot is often a form of self medication and is rarely going to help.

Yes, it can make things worse. Its fine when its there, but if you're addicted and you run out, you will become irritated, angry, emotional and volatile at anything that doesnt go your way. Its like a rollercoaster ride, up and down, and your emotions are controlled by whether you have it or dont have it.

When their high they'll be calm and happy and probably for a little while after that but once they become addicted, which i do believe it's addicting, when they don't have it they become unhappy and irritable because of withdraws. That's my own personal experience.

I personally believe the world would be much more gentle and peaceful if the everyone smoked. Crime rates would plummet b/c everybody would be at home watching TV and eating.
