I think it is a rude head trip and if you did that to me I would drop you as a girlfriend and just move on. It is like making fun of him for not being bilingual and that is just totally unkind. By the way as far as English goes you need to use the spell check button.

With your English grammar skills, I don't think he'd understand it in English. If the guy really likes you, he'll put it into an French to English translator online. It's not that hard.
