Many times I have felt the ghost of rape stalking me since i was a victim of it.. It trys to get on me again. I escape it and at times it tries to return. it makes me feel bi-sexual because of hating men.I shake it off though and the normal thing returns.. Anyone have any ideas of how to escape ? I have gotten past the personal blame thing so I am good with that.

How did you get past the PERSONAL blame thing.

That is astounding.

THE PERSON is to blame and THAT is the issue.

They had a CHOICE.

I don't think bisexuals hate men, in fact that would be contradictory...

I feel terrible for you that this ghost shadows you, I'm not really sure there is anything that can be done to stop that. What I believe can be changed is the way you react to its appearance.

But there are plenty of people who really know this stuff, I can only hope you are talking to them and aren't just relying on getting help here or through mindless Bible reading or prayer. I play the tolerance card in most matters, but when it comes to people really needing help I can't stand the thought that their beliefs are preventing them from seeking it. It might take a lot of trial and error, but eventually you will find someone/thing to help you with this. Don't turn your back on any genuine option in the name of religion. Please.

This is not really the section to be asking this. The best section would be under health.

Answer: Counselling - Hypnotherapy - NLP - CBT are all tools to aid a person over trauma. I work with victims of traumatic abuse all the time

The one who raped you is still alive? He might think about you when he touches himself. This could send out his energies to find you, even if he isn't aware that this is happening. A shallow bowl with some vinegar in it, when left out, can help to lessen this kind of unconscious psychic invasion. It's good for keeping ghosts away too.

I was raped too. You need to decide if you are going to let this jerk CONTINUE to violate you.

Or you can decide to take control of your life.

The first thing is to quit feeling sorry for yourself- I can tell you do because you call yourself a VICTIM.

STOP BEING A VICTIM AND START BEING A SURVIVOR.

It is a conscious decision you must make. Don;t waste your money on therapists. they are full of CR*P.

You may have heard it before...but you need to seek counseling. Find yourself loving relationships to be in: boyfriend/girlfriend/parents/husband/whatnot. Those are the only things that help. It's just your memories haunting you. It's possible that the thoughts will never completely leave, but you (and those that love you) can certainly make it better.

Trust advice from someone who knows....?

Wow. This is a hard one to answer. I have no clue what you are dealing with but I do know that Jesus has taken nightmares and turned them into positive things.

Yes. Give your life to Jesus Christ. He will give you back what the locusts took away, give you the oil of joy for mourning. He will protect you and restore your joy and trust. Learn of Him and His healing word and love. God is the answer to all these things. I pray to God He lead you to Him and protect you every day the rest of your life.
