ditching your boy friend and the next day go out with another guy is kind of awkward. Stay with you boyfriend and ask the other guy out after your relationship

Your just going to have to way in what the loss and gains will or could be. But if you choose to break up id make sure to spend some alone time before you go out with the other guy. You don't want to make your ex, or possible ex feel even worse, or give yourself a bad rep.
