I say stay with the angle bangs starting on the cowlick side being the shortest you'd want them.(when dries naturally to see how short you would want them)if you stretch them and measure they will be too short!
When you blow dry hold the dryer in one hand on the top of the cowlick almost as if you had someone blowing it from behind you down into your face, using your fingers on the other hand to to pull it down. Tricky I know but force that little bugger to start laying down. You can do it!
Don't to much of a bang or you will never get it to lay down!

Unfortunately angled or any type of bangs may not work on some types of naturally curly, "cowlicked", or super wavy hair without a lot of styling time. If the hair above your forehead has a whirl or prominent cowlick or easily curls up, bangs may not be a wise choice since they may be uncontrollable and definitely time consuming to deal with. But, if you are set on having them, be ready to commit to using a flat iron or a large barrelled curling iron to tame the cowlick or waves. Experiment with this to find out if you are willing to deal with this on a daily basis. Try longer bangs to begin with so If you become frustrated with them, you can still pull them back and you will be that closer to growing them out. Best of luck.

i have the same problem. ive had a 'cowlick' since i was like 4 lol im 20 now! you'd think i'd know how to handle it. i DONT. i dont have bangs, but i want them too. i try to part my hair zigzag or flip it to one side against the 'cowlick'. seems to work for me.

You probably don't want to hear this but you can't do anything to make a cowlick "go back normal". Embrace and learn to love your special hair growth pattern.

you can't really change a growth pattern, but a good stylist should be able to help you with your bang issues. we learn to compensate for things like cowlicks by using different techniques. find a stylist with a good rep for cutting women's hair

I even have important hair subject concerns. I even have fairly curly hair, so i can't quite do something with it. i prefer to get it decrease with layers that physique my face and lots of layers interior the lower back, yet that could purely seem quite stable if I straighten it, and that takes an exceedingly quite long term.

you have to train them to go that way, use hair clips and jell or hair spray even if you hate them for about a week to get them to do what you want.. =) it works.. it really does... works best if you have a fairly shortish hair style and the bangs work if you just do the hairspray and jell with the clips... it'll be weird a bit.. do it while you sleep... and dry it emidatly after you wash it.. while it's wet you must shape it the way you want it...
