The Hog is one sexy plane. Probably one of the sexiest out there. NOT a plane you'd want to be on the receiving end of for sure.

It's also got a great survivability rate. You can shoot it to hell, and it can still limp home. I don't know of any other plane that can take the beating this beauty can and still survive. :-)

There's not another aircraft in the world that can carry the amount of weapon load this sweetheart can (with the exception of bombers). This baby was designed for one thing......making the enemy's life a living hell, and damn does she do it well :-) I would LOVE to be able to park one of these babies in my driveway hehe

What's NOT to love about this beautiful plane???? :-)

I lived in an area where the A-10's were always flying and blowing things up. Using their training rounds, which are aluminum, they blew up any and everything on Peason Ridge. They, along with AH-64, make a very lethal team and any enemy, don't stand a chance when the Warthog is on the prowl.

They used to do maneuvers near my childhood home. It was the eeriest thing to watch a plane appear to stop in midair, turn on a dime, and head back in the opposite direction. They're one of the most awesome vehicles in the United States arsenal. An entire aircraft built around a cannon.

Yes-The Air Force tried to dump it but it is a great close air support aircraft-saved many U.S. lives in Iraq . If the Air Force does not support the A-10 the Army should be allowed to fly with army pilots!

It's a great aircraft when not going up against the latest and greatest weapons. It'll probably be around for another 20 years, mostly for non U.S. countries such as Iraq, Afganistan and Columbia.

Watching History Channel eh? It is quite an airplane. Ugly as sin but they say she's a dream to fly. She also is no plane to mess with she'll blow you away.
