i am so glad there is someone else out there that loves pits. i have two, mother and son. the mother's name is ghost because she is white w/black spots(you can't see the spots until you give her a bath) but, she is top of the line. she is a cosmo and breeded her with a red nose pit. we had some of the nicest pup's. now as far as names go.... the boy we kept(runt) we call him max, then there was roxy(female), bruzzer(huge)sold him, kia(female)sold her also, riley(male)sold, there are so many names you can use. we had 9 pup's sold all except the runt, we kept him. he is huge also.so good luck with the names. i always liked printz(name we used for our german sheppard). have fun with your pup, just treat em right and he will be your best friend..

He's sleeping alot because he is a pup, give him a strong name an one with history. Something he would be proud of having.
Start his name with either
Capt
Sir
and look for the meaning of the name
they have personality just like we do.

I named mine Kodiak, after the huge Kodiak bears on the Kodiak Islands in Alaska.
However, he's a brindle pit/rottweiler mix and quite bigger than the usual pit pup, so this may not fit your dog.

Nitro, Zeus, Rex, Dozer, Champ, Chase, Berger(lol its a weird name but my best friend has a pitty named that and it is cute and unusual) These are all names of pittys I know and are great dogs.. Good luck with your new boy whatever you name him!
