Yes but they are not stamped, as in the UK. It doesn't matter as you both know what they are but for selling they will not be sold as gold without the stamp. Remember that you bargain in Turkey. If you can't do it then take someone who can. You should not pay anywhere near the asking price, start at 1/3 and end up about 1/2.

I think Indian Gold is most pure 24ct this is more yellow than the gold in our shops.
Dubai is the place to buy as it is quite cheap & they sell it by weight.
I don't know about Turkey so I suggest you do a bit of research.

You can get different colours of gold, all of it stamped. A lot of dealers, and goldsmiths, add extra copper to the gold. Unless you have a reputable goldsmith, recommended to you, it would be safer to buy your jewellery in the States.
You would have no legal recourse, should you be swindled by an unscrupolous dealer from another country.

Turkish gold I believe is 14k I have heard its the best type of gold to have as it has less nickle (I think) I would go for it if I was you it wil be cheaper than UK.

no.you will find that everything in turkey is a cheap immation and the gold is known as soft gold, not as good quality.

Yes i have friends and when their son go married they borrow rings from friends and got married here then went to turkey on there honeymoon and bough their weddings there.when they came back they got them blessed by the priest.

yes its better quality, the other guys are right about hagling over prices im afraid - but i would start by offering 25% and work my way up as slowly as possible (good luck!)
