No it doesn't mean you're being audited. Audit is a process where you have to provide proof-documentation to substantiate the numbers you have on the return.

A review just means there were some red-flags that they want to take a closer look at. It can be something as simple as a calculation error or maybe the W-2 infomration they got from your employer didn't match up with what's on your tax return etc..

Most of the time you'll get a corrected return. Sometimes the error could even be in your favor. I wouldn't worry about it unless you feel there something you should really worry about on your return.

Possibly.

At the very least your return is getting a closer look by a human as opposed to the normal computerized review.

Some audits don't involve contact with the taxpayer -- an agent reviews something flagged by the computer and decides that it is OK.

Most audits will generate a letter from the IRS requesting proof of one or two items on your return. If you quickly supply the requested proof, the case is closed quickly.

You'll just have to sit tight and see what happens.

No, it's not the same as an audit. Reviewed just means it's being looked at. If they can't sort it out at that level, then they might ask you for more information, or just assess additional taxes if something is obviously wrong on your return.

"Accepted" just meant that they had received it, and that some very basic things were OK like the names matched the social security numbers and there weren't any math errors. Accepted did not mean that everything had been checked out and was correct.
